Hi Brad I sent home three packages from SEA last year: one from Bangkok, one from Hanoi and one from Hoi An. I had bought lots of textiles and clothing that I didn't want to drag around for months, so I risked it. The lady at the Hanoi post office was a little too interested in all my silks (even to the point of telling me, "oh, this one is very nice" and holding them up to her body...) so I waited until they were sealed, proofed and put in the locker. Everything arrived home in less than a month in perfect shape. I believe that I paid around 80$CAN (about 50euro) in the end for all three packages (about 8 Kg) so to me, it was worth it.
